Located on Brunnenstraße in Mitte, ODAY DELI serves all-day breakfast, lunch, and specialty coffees with Vietnamese influences. Black Sesame French Toast, a Bánh-Mì-style sandwich, and Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk make this deli by Weinbergspark special.

ODAY DELI: A Deli with History and Flavor

ODAY DELI is a tribute to growing up between two cultures: Co-founder Phung Vu Thanh spent her childhood by Weinbergspark, exactly where the deli stands today. This has not resulted in a nostalgic storefront project, but rather a place that truly lives. Behind this breakfast spot is a team raised in Berlin, confidently bringing their Vietnamese roots to the menu.

The interior design is by the furniture design collective EMES and is inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright’s Kaufmann Office and Berlin’s Kino International. Plenty of custom-made wood ensures that the space feels elegant and warm, almost like a film set. On sunny days, the outdoor tables are quickly occupied.

What’s on the Menu at ODAY DELI

All-day breakfast, lunch, and coffee are served. Classics include the Black Sesame French Toast, inspired by Vietnamese childhood desserts, and a Club Sandwich with its own twist. For something savory, there’s the ODAY Sandwich, reminiscent of a classic Bánh Mì. Lunch changes weekly, featuring dishes like Udon, curries, or sticky rice with marinated tofu or chicken, with additional specials on weekends.

Even when it comes to drinks, it’s worth looking beyond the cappuccino: Popular choices include Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk, coconut coffee, black sesame coffee, and cold matcha.
