The location near the Kurfürstendamm subway station has existed since 2005, and in 2012, it was renamed “Curry Wolf”. Today, the establishment operates two locations in Berlin, at the Brandenburg Gate and on Kurfürstendamm.

The most famous spot in Charlottenburg is located at an address that can hardly be surpassed: On Kurfürstendamm, directly opposite the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church at Breitscheidplatz, awaits Curry Wolf’s flagship store. If you prefer to breathe historical Berlin, choose the location in Mitte: On Pariser Platz, directly in front of the Hotel Adlon, you can get the original Berlin Currywurst with an unobstructed view of the Brandenburg Gate. This is a backdrop that can hardly be topped while enjoying a sausage.

What can you order at Curry Wolf?

The centerpiece is, of course, the Berlin Currywurst, which is classically available here with and without casing, along with the typical tomatoey Curry Wolf Ketchup, as well as curry and paprika powder and Worcestershire sauce. What stands out for us compared to other stands is the in-house hot sauce – named “Opium”. A must-try for all who like it a bit spicier. And the best part: it’s even free.

As a side dish, we recommend the crispy long-stemmed fries, which we found particularly tasty. There are also delicious curry meatballs and potato salad. Befitting the exclusive location, the stand also offers a glass of champagne. Vegetarian or vegan? No problem: For all who love meatless options, there is a vegan Currywurst. This truly caters to everyone, which we wouldn’t always expect from a Currywurst stand in Berlin.
