The large and spacious coffee roastery Röststätte Berlin is a meeting place at Ackerstraße in Berlin-Mitte. Coffee-lovers sit on dark wooden furniture inside the café or outside on chairs and benches with purple cushions and enjoy the coffee specialties. There are both classic espressi and filter coffee, but also more extraordinary creations such as a Matcha soy cappuccino. Many visitors bring their laptops and use the time at the coffee roastery to work. Along with your coffee you can enjoy cake specialties such as carrot cake, bran muffins or brownies from the glass display next to the large counter opposite the entrance.
The coffee used used for roastery are 100% Arabica coffee beans. The coffee beans originate from Africa, Central and Latin America. All filter coffee and espresso blends are traditionally hand-roasted in the roasting facility in Berlin, so that the natural aromas can fully unfold. In the drum roaster the coffee beans are treated gently at low temperatures of max. 215 ° C so that no unwanted acids are formed. The love for coffee at Röststätte Berrlin is awarded. In 2016 Röststätte Berlin became number 2 at the Barista championship of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA).
Röststätte Berlin offers various coffee and barista workshops such as Barista Basic, Barista Kompakt, Latte Art, Roasting & Cupping. Equipment for coffee roasting, barista tools and coffee cups made of enamel can be purchased at the related online shop of Röststätte.
