In Adalbertstraße in Kreuzberg, KaffeeKirsche serves fresh specialty coffee daily, roasted in its own drum roastery in Tempelhof. The roastery combines artisanal roasting with genuine origin stories and is represented at several locations in Berlin.

KaffeeKirsche: From Green Coffee to the Finished Cup

KaffeeKirsche was founded in 2014 by Turabi Kocadag, who came from the gastronomy sector and wanted to rethink coffee with quality and transparency. Today, KaffeeKirsche is represented at several locations in Berlin, including the café on Adalbertstraße in Kreuzberg. Roasting takes place in their own roastery in Tempelhof on a Probat-UG22 drum roasting machine, with each bean receiving its own finely tuned roasting profile.

KaffeeKirsche sources many coffees directly from farms and maintains genuine relationships with producers. The team has personally visited farms in Colombia, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua and knows the people and stories behind the beans. Varieties such as Dark Side Espresso and Gran Galope impress with their full body and lasting sweetness.

Roastery, Café, and Showroom in one

In addition to the roastery, KaffeeKirsche operates a showroom featuring high-quality espresso machines, modern coffee makers, and matching accessories. They also offer fresh breakfast dishes, vegan options, and homemade pastries from their own bakery.

KaffeeKirsche regularly offers courses: At coffee cuppings, interested participants can taste coffees together and learn the basics of coffee aromas. The roastery also regularly participates in the Berlin Coffee Festival.
