Since 1994, Cynthia Barcomi and her team have been roasting their own Arabica beans and baking everything themselves in Kreuzberg's Bergmannkiez. With this, the American baking icon has not only created an institution on Bergmannstraße but has also shaped Berlin's coffee culture.





In Berlin-Mitte, on Ackerstrasse not far from Rosenthaler Platz, Yvonne and Ivo Weller have been hand-roasting specialty coffees for over a decade. Röststätte Berlin stands for specialty coffee, its own Barista Academy, and Berlin's largest coffee accessory store, all under one roof.

The Bonanza Coffee Heroes serve coffee on a world-class level! To get there, Yumi Choi and Kiduk Reus spent one year travelling from London to Italy, New York and the rest of the world familiarizing themselves with the best varieties of coffee beans and above all how to roast and prepare them properly.




Bonanza Coffee Heroes on Oderberger Straße has been a pioneer of Berlin's specialty coffee scene since 2006. Here, coffee is roasted in-house, precisely brewed, and true respect is paid to the Arabica bean with 14 grams per cup.


Hidden in the sixth courtyard of Hackesche Höfe in Berlin-Mitte, this Tunisian-Arab-influenced specialty coffee shop serves high-quality specialty coffee.
