The Michelberger Restaurant on Warschauer Straße cooks Central European heritage dishes with vegetables from its own farm in Spreewald. Michelberger Restaurant: Business Dining with its Own Farm as a Backbone

The Michelberger Restaurant belongs to the hotel of the same name at Warschauer Straße 39-40 in Friedrichshain, housed in a Wilhelminian factory building with 119 rooms. Since spring 2026, the evening menu has focused on Central Europe’s culinary heritage, based on old recipes passed down through generations. The dining room has bright tiled walls, long dark wooden tables, and simple industrial lamps, with an inner courtyard behind it. For a private gathering, the Whisky Room is set, serving the full evening menu.

Lunch Tray for 22 Euros, Vegetables from Spreewald

For lunch, there’s the Lunch Tray for 22 Euros, which offers a bit of everything, plus a daily special for 19 Euros that changes weekly and includes dishes such as Schnitzel from Havelland apple pork or chicken fricassee with green pepper. A pumpkin soup costs 8 Euros, pointed cabbage with roasted cauliflower cream 16 Euros. In the evening, the Menu Carte Blanche is available for 55 Euros. A large portion of the vegetables come from the Michelberger Farm in Naundorf in Spreewald, a syntropic food forest with around 15,000 plants on one and a half hectares. All of the house’s bread also comes from there.
