It took a long time until the traditional pub “Eierschale” shines again in new splendor, but since 2021 it is reopened as Zenner beer and wine garden.
The old charm is still clearly noticeable but just with a new wind in the sails and directly with water view. A lot has happened and in addition to traditional beer and wine gardens, the old walls are now also enlivened with culture. Thus, intellectual electronic sounds regularly find their way into the main house, to whom that is nothing will find something to laugh and celebrate at the latest at the regular events. The Zenner is located in the center of Treptower Park and invites you to stay with its extensive gastronomic offer. The cuisine is classic, homemade and offers light to hearty dishes, while vegans and vegetarians do not come up short. Otherwise, there is still ice cream with organic quality of Rosa Canina and coffee. Summery beverages do not come here too briefly and some celebrates its come back into the beer garden, so the citizens of Berlin classic “Berlin citizen brew” is tapped freshly from the tank. But more Schneider Weisse and Tegernseer from traditional breweries in southern Germany will be coming out of the tanks, as well as contemporary Berlin craftbrew like BRLO. On the other side of the beer tanks is the wine garden where fine drops are available from the traditional Geil family of winemakers.
It will take some time until the Zenner and the plans of the new owners are complete, but the Zenner is already cult and tradition again.
For the next 25 years it will offer program not only in summer but also in winter.
