If you want to get out of the city for an asparagus meal, head to Klaistow near Beelitz. The Winkelmann family's Asparagus and Adventure Farm is one of Brandenburg's most famous addresses for Beelitz asparagus directly from their own fields. A rustic farm restaurant, beer garden, and a buffet that has become a real must-visit for many Berliners during the season.

The Werderaner Tannenhof in Werder (Havel) is an adventure farm on a 60-hectare fir tree plantation, attracting families from Berlin and Brandenburg year-round with animals, sports, and seasonal events in the forest. From a petting zoo to alpaca hikes and a mini-golf course among fir trees: there's something for every age here.

Bad Saarow is a mud spa and recognised health resort in the south of Berlin, directly on Lake Scharmützelsee, which offers a wide range of recreational opportunities.
