SteinTherme Bad Belzig

Brandenburg

Just an hour's drive from Berlin, in the Hoher Fläming region, Bad Belzig is home to one of Brandenburg's most remarkable thermal spa landscapes. The SteinTherme draws its healing power from iodine-rich thermal brine, gushing from a depth of 775 meters, bringing body and mind to a tranquility not found in the city.

What makes SteinTherme Bad Belzig so special?

Pure relaxation awaits in Bad Belzig, nestled in the Hoher Fläming region, just under an hour’s drive from Berlin. It is primarily the water itself that sets the SteinTherme apart from other spas in Brandenburg. The locally sourced thermal brine strengthens the heart and circulatory system, relieves muscles, joints, and the spine, and clears the airways. With a salt content of about 20 percent and a temperature of 30 degrees Celsius, the iodine-rich brine gushes up from a depth of 775 meters. The result is a brine bath that impressively differentiates itself from conventional thermal baths.

Amidst the idyllic spa park, the SteinTherme offers a spacious BadeWelt (bathing world) with six thermal brine and warm water pools. Those looking for a particularly special experience will find it in the LichtKlangRaum (LightSoundRoom). This unique room is a true highlight. Here, you can enjoy the 34-degree warm healing brine in apparent weightlessness, as the high salt content of 4.5 percent makes floating possible. With pleasant sounds and an effective interplay of light and color, you literally float away from everyday life.

Sauna, Wellness, and Gastronomy: What else awaits you?

The sauna landscape at SteinTherme Bad Belzig is also impressive. There are two Finnish saunas at 75 and 95 degrees, a biosauna at 65 degrees, a Banya at 85 degrees, a graduation sauna at 42 degrees where brine trickles over blackthorn brushwood, a steam bath at 47 degrees, and a hot air room at 55 degrees. Thus, there is something for every heat preference. For cooling down, an ice fountain, a plunge pool, a cold pool, a Kneipp foot bath, and the large sauna garden are available.

The stylish beauty and wellness area of the SteinTherme offers various types of well-being treatments. If you get hungry after a sauna session, you don’t have to go far. The culinary highlight of the spa restaurant is the “Hot Stone” meal, combining gourmet delight with rustic dining pleasure. Regular guests also praise the atmosphere of the entire facility. One gladly lingers here: no noise, courteous staff, and a beautiful ambiance are qualities that are repeatedly highlighted. Those who come on weekdays usually find the spa significantly quieter. The SteinTherme is open daily from 10:00 to 20:00.
