The Mitte location of the Sixties Diner is the most central American diner in Berlin: It's a two-minute walk from the Monbijouplatz tram stop, and four minutes from Hackescher Markt. Inside, 300 seats with red leather benches await, with an additional 90 on the outdoor terrace. The breakfast menu features ten different breakfast options, and all potato products are gluten-free.

Bricks Club Berlin is located in the basement vaults under the Hilton at Gendarmenmarkt, designed by architect firm karhard. On Fridays, the in-house series Any Given Friday runs, on Saturdays, series like I Love Hip Hop with Trap, Dancehall, and Afrobeats. Over 400 speakers are embedded in the bass ceiling, which sets this venue apart among hip-hop clubs in Mitte.

Below the Hilton Hotel on Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin-Mitte lies one of the city's most famous celebrity clubs: BRICKS. Brick walls, hip-hop sounds, and a dress code that means "smart & elegant" attract students as well as celebrities from sports and entertainment.

Between appetizer and dessert, singers stand next to the table: Pasta Opera combines an Italian menu with live-sung arias, including at Friedrichsfelde Palace.

La Galleria Italiana on Torstraße makes its own stuffed pasta and calls the homemade noodles the speciality of the house, above all the tortelloni with truffle. At Checkpoint Charlie, the asisi Panorama The Wall shows everyday life in divided Berlin in the 1980s across 900 square meters. From a four-meter-high platform, visitors look over the death strip to East Berlin, in a 1:1 scale, amidst dilapidated houses, punks, and border guards.
