Germany's only hotel spa of its kind is enthroned on the fifth floor of the Waldorf Astoria on Kurfürstendamm in Charlottenburg. Spanning 1,000 square meters, the Waldorf Astoria Spa combines French cosmetic tradition with Berlin grand hotel atmosphere. Those who check in here are unlikely to leave before evening.

1,000 Square Meters of Silence Above the Ku’damm

The Waldorf Astoria Berlin opened on January 3, 2013, bringing with it Germany’s first Guerlain Spa — a wellness area that has since received multiple awards. The spa has repeatedly received the “World Luxury Spa Award” as the best luxury hotel spa and, in 2021, additionally the German “Best Hotel Spa Award”. Since January 2025, it has officially operated as the Waldorf Astoria Spa, after Nancy Wilke, who was part of the pre-opening team, took over as the new Spa Manager.

The 1,000 m² are located on the fifth floor and include five treatment rooms, a cloud-shaped pool, a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, a terrace, a five-senses hydrotherapy area, a 24-hour fitness center, and an exclusive BABOR boutique. What particularly caught our attention: All treatment rooms have natural daylight. This is far from common in spa facilities. The rooftop terrace also invites guests to unwind after treatments and offers a beautiful view over the Berlin skyline. The fitness center was also equipped with completely new Technogym equipment in 2025.

Treatments, Prices, and Refreshments

The treatment menu includes, among others, the Berlin Chic Massage with local influences, as well as the Skincare Atelier for customized facial treatments. The spa cooperates with the German brand BABOR. Alternatively, we recommend the in-house exclusive „Vitality Treatment”, which is among the most sought-after Waldorf Astoria spa applications worldwide. A concrete example from the price list: The Orchidée Impériale Prestige facial treatment lasts 2.5 hours and costs 325 Euros, while the Abeille Royale Expert treatment is available for 90 minutes from 195 Euros.

For a day trip without treatment: A full wellness day with access to the pool, sauna, and fitness center costs 85 Euros per person. Hotel guests, however, pay only 15 Euros per person per day for the use of the pool and sauna area. Tea is served with treatments. A full restaurant is not connected to the spa, but spa members benefit from a 20% discount at the ROCA restaurant and the hotel’s Lang Bar.
