Winterfeldt Schokoladen on Goltzstraße in Schöneberg sells chocolates and pralines in a former pharmacy from 1892. The goods are displayed in original wooden drawers, and the small café offers Italian-style hot chocolate.

Winterfeldt Chocolates: Chocolate in an Old Pharmacy

Winterfeldt Schokoladen has its shop in a historic pharmacy building from 1892 near Winterfeldtplatz. The inscription “Apotheke” (Pharmacy) is still on the facade, and the chocolates and pralines are displayed in the original wooden drawers and cabinets. This fits the history: until the 19th century, chocolate was sold in pharmacies as a tonic.

The assortment ranges from classic milk, dark, and white chocolate to varieties like Whiskey Orange, Champagne, or Rosé. Winterfeldt is the exclusive distribution partner of the French manufacturer Pralus in Germany. Additionally, there is chocolate from Venchi, Valrhona, Coppeneur, the Berlin chocolaterie Belyzium, and the Belgian producer Dolfin, as well as vegan, sugar-free, gluten-free, and kosher varieties.

Winterfeldt Chocolates: Own Bars and Drinking Chocolate

Together with Berlin chocolatier C. Wohlfarth, the in-house Winterfeldt chocolate was created, including bars with sour cherries, blood orange oil, sea salt, caramel, or marshmallows. A single praline starts from 95 cents, a marshmallow milk chocolate costs 6.90 Euros. In the small café, Cioccolata calda (Italian-style hot chocolate) is served, along with several drinking chocolates, including unusual ones like white chocolate with curry. The team advises on selection.
