Supermarché Berlin

Supermarché on Wiener Straße in Kreuzberg is a shop for fair and ecologically produced fashion. In addition to around 30 brands, it features the in-house label Hirschkind with hand-printed shirts, bed linen, and tea towels.

Supermarché Berlin: Fair Fashion and Gifts in Kreuzberg

Nicole and Ben founded Supermarché in 2009. On approximately 100 square meters at Wiener Straße 16, you’ll find clothing and home accessories that are fair and ecologically produced. The majority of the goods carry recognized certifications such as GOTS, Fairtrade Cotton, or Grüner Knopf. Among the approximately 30 brands are ARMEDANGELS, Recolution, Melawear, Kuyichi, Knowledge Cotton Apparel, MUD Jeans, and Kings of Indigo. For jeans alone, there are more than 50 models to choose from.

For smaller gifts, there is Fairtrade chocolate, products for garden and balcony, as well as greeting cards and postcards from fair trade organizations and from illustrators from Berlin and other German cities.

Supermarché Berlin: The In-house Label Hirschkind

The in-house label Hirschkind is hand-printed in a screen printing workshop in a Kreuzberg backyard using water-based inks. The motifs are inspired by flora and fauna: bed linen with the Neukölln dandelion, shirts with great tits or the Brandenburg chestnut, and hand-woven tea towels with the punk rock bunnies. These pieces make great gifts with a Berlin connection. Open Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 19:00 and Saturday from 11:00 to 18:00.
