Christmas Garden im Botanischen Garten Berlin

Following its great success, the Christmas Garden will return to the Botanical Garden Berlin in 2018. Starting November 15, 2018, this enchanting illuminated winter walk with new motifs will run until January 2019.
The Christmas Garden Berlin is a winter oasis in the capital where families, children, and romantics can experience a genuine pre-Christmas atmosphere and contemplative mood.

The approximately two-kilometer-long circular path captivates with fascinating light installations. An illuminated “Wishing Tree” spreads its branches, and the legendary over 100-year-old weeping beech once again becomes a fairy tale beech. Lake America is illuminated with imposing lights. Additionally, popular light art installations such as the brightly lit Great Tropical House and the Italian Garden will once again unfold their unique magical atmosphere. Festive motifs tell stories of reindeer, angels, or Santa Claus, amazing both young and old.

Admission is deliberately organized with staggered entry times to prevent overcrowding and allow every visitor to enjoy their Christmas walk in peace. The Christmas Garden is a Christmas activity for adults, children, and families. You can also use the flair of the Christmas Garden to celebrate with colleagues and spend your Christmas party there. The Christmas Garden features various food stalls, and a special highlight is the exceptional marshmallows from “The Marshmallowist”. Additionally, the restaurant “Santa Clause” offers further dishes.
