Nähinstitut am Moritzplatz

The Nähinstitut at Moritzplatz helps with this. Here, not only sewing courses for beginners and advanced learners are offered, but also open workshops where you can find support without an appointment for a question or a small sewing project (sewing a shopping bag). You can also meet nice people here, because if you don’t want to sit alone in front of your machine at home, you can meet like-minded people in the co-sewing room, as the workshop is called here. If you get a taste for it and want to continue sewing at home, you can also bring your own rusty machine to the Nähinstitut for repair. If you can’t manage at all, you can also have something sewn in the tailor shop and thus get an individual piece!
