Raumquartier

A former horse auction hall, then a church, today an event location in Brandenburg an der Havel: The Raumquartier offers exceptional events near Berlin and Potsdam, where history meets creative design space and groups have the entire house exclusively to themselves.
Raumquartier: From Tattersall to the Region’s Event Location
The building has stood for over 100 years in Brandenburg an der Havel, originally conceived as a Tattersall, where horses were housed, leased, and sold. After the horses, the New Apostolic community came and used the hall as a church until 2008, after which the house stood empty and increasingly fell into disrepair. In 2010, entrepreneur Josef Grosse Wiesmann bought the dilapidated building and recognized much creative potential within its walls. Today, it can be said that the Raumquartier is one of the most unusual event locations in the Berlin area. What at first glance looks like a church, turns out to be a flexible space marvel inside.
Surrounded by Brandenburg’s nature and the Havel landscape, the Raumquartier is in close proximity to Berlin and Potsdam, with the RE 1 taking 40 minutes to Zoological Garden and 22 minutes to Potsdam Central Station. This makes it easily accessible for Berliners as well as for groups from Potsdam.
Exclusively Bookable: An Event Location for up to 100 People
The entire Raumquartier is exclusively available to each group, with a total of 34 sleeping accommodations, eight bathrooms, an eight-meter-high hall including a stage, an open kitchen, and a viewing gallery. The event location accommodates up to 100 people and is ideal for creative meetings, conferences, seminars, and congresses. Additionally, weddings, birthdays, and company celebrations are possible.
From pinboards, flipcharts, and moderator’s cases for the workshop to LED spots, DJ booth, and high tables for the get-together afterwards, everything is brought to the Raumquartier. Also included in the price are a screen, beamer, multimedia board, foosball table, darts, a piano, and a ping-pong table. Furthermore, all guests can stay overnight in the same house, so no one has to drive after the celebration. With a large network of cooperation partners in and around Brandenburg, bicycle rental, SUP and canoe rental, yoga classes, and sports trainers can also be easily booked. So, anyone planning an event that goes beyond the classic conference room will find a framework here that truly anticipates needs.
