During the winter holidays, Ökowerk Berlin, on the edge of Grunewald, takes children aged 7 to 12 on an exciting discovery journey under the motto "Winter Forest is Fun".
Winter Holidays at Ökowerk Berlin
For those who prefer to spend the winter holidays outdoors rather than indoors, Ökowerk, on the edge of Grunewald, offers a nature-oriented holiday program for children aged 7 to 12. For one week, Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 3 PM, small groups of no more than 14 children, accompanied by experienced environmental educators, explore the forest, water, and meadows around the site.
The program includes discovery tours around Teufelssee Lake, nature games, small outdoor research assignments, crafting with natural materials, and observing the animals that live there. Children bring their own packed lunch; drinks and on-site equipment are provided.
Participation costs approximately 200 Euros per week, 150 Euros for Ökowerk members, and 60 Euros with proof of reduced eligibility. Since groups are intentionally kept small, early registration is advisable.
Ökowerk is located on Teufelsseechaussee in Grunewald – weatherproof clothing and changing shoes belong in every backpack, as the program largely takes place outdoors.
