When it’s cold and grey outside, the tropical tanks at SEA LIFE in Berlin-Mitte offer a warm alternative for the winter holidays. A tour covering approximately 1,800 square meters leads past catsharks, seahorses, and marbled rays, through a glass ocean tunnel and along colourful coral reef tanks.
At the touch pool, children can carefully touch mussels, starfish, and small crabs, learning more about life underwater. At fixed times during the day, there are also feedings where divers enter the tanks and answer visitors’ questions.
A visit takes one to two hours, depending on your pace – a reliable alternative to the playground for rainy days or cold afternoons during the winter holidays.
SEA LIFE is centrally located at Alexanderplatz and is easily accessible by subway and S-Bahn from all over the city.
