In the Oder-Spree Lakeland, about 40 kilometers east of Berlin, schwapp in Fürstenwalde awaits big and small adventurers with seven slides, a dragon's palace, and 270 meters of water fun. This excursion destination in Brandenburg makes even rainy weekends an event.
Slides, Waves, and Dragon’s Castle: What makes schwapp so special for families
schwapp in Fürstenwalde is one of the most popular excursion destinations in Brandenburg for families from Berlin and the surrounding area. Seven slides, two current channels, an action wave, and its own children’s pool with a heated pool ensure that a day in the water won’t get boring quickly. The slides, in particular, are something special: In the fun pool, the Master Blaster awaits brave bathers, a roller coaster slide, just like the Black Hole, a 109-meter long water slide. schwapp also boasts Germany’s only uphill slide, which we found particularly impressive. The youngest guests are also well catered for: the smallest guests can splash undisturbed in the heated pool of the toddler area and don’t have to miss out on slides and other play equipment.
If you need a short break, simply relax on one of the sun loungers. In addition to the slides, the action river with waves, a waterfall with grotto, as well as a current channel and whirlpool provide variety. There is also a spacious outdoor area with an outdoor pool, children’s playground, and sunbathing lawns, as well as a sauna landscape and wellness offers. This allows families to spend a whole day there. In the schwapp Bistro, guests can enjoy freshly prepared meals, cool drinks, and vegetarian dishes after their swim. If you wish, you can also celebrate a children’s birthday party at schwapp.
