Lale has existed on Klosterstraße since 1982 (!), making it one of the oldest kebab shops in Berlin. In 1996 they opened another shop at Charlottenburg. Both shops use the same sauce and the whole things is still a family affair, in the meantime passed on to the next generation. Father Özgün chose with Spandau and Charlottenburg back in the day the doner kebab diaspora.

Nowadays the numerous competition is held at bay with home-made salads, changing with every season. At Charlottenburg you can also ordner small lunch snacks like filled aubergines, a Turkish goulash or a grilled chicken.
