The India Club Berlin on Behrenstraße in Mitte is considered the premier address for North Indian cuisine in the capital. Directly behind the Hotel Adlon, Chef Manish Bahukhandi serves rustic classics with a modern touch, while poultry and lamb are organically sourced from a farm on the Baltic Sea.

India Club Berlin: North Indian Cuisine at its Finest

The India Club Berlin is one of the premier addresses for North Indian cuisine in Germany. The restaurant is located not far from the Brandenburg Gate, in the rear part of the exclusive Hotel Adlon. The address is therefore no coincidence, and neither is the culinary standard.

Behind the concept is Chef Manish Bahukhandi, whose style combines traditional flavors with a contemporary demand for quality and precision. Many dishes feature finely tuned masalas, roasted and freshly ground in-house. A special focus is on traditional tandoor ovens, which give the dishes their unmistakable aroma, lightly smoky and intense.

The so-called „rustic cuisine” with roots in North India includes curries, original tandoori dishes, and numerous vegetarian and vegan options. In addition to the à la carte menu, the three-course surprise menu is particularly worthwhile.

Organic from the Baltic Sea Farm, Straight to Your Plate

Beef and pork are deliberately absent from the India Club menu. Instead, high-quality organic poultry and lamb come exclusively from the Vorder Bollhagen estate of the Jagdfeld family on the Mecklenburg Baltic Sea coast. This ensures transparency regarding the origin of the poultry and lamb.

With mahogany furniture, dark wood paneling, rich colors, and traditional patterns, the elegant interior exudes an almost festive atmosphere. The India Club thrives as much on its ambiance as on its food: warm colors, elegant details, a touch of exoticism without being kitschy. Once seated, guests usually stay longer than planned.
