High-level North Indian cuisine, just a few steps from Ku'damm: The Anappurna Indian Restaurant in Charlottenburg stands for authentic flavors, carefully selected spices, and a menu ranging from Tandoori specialties to homemade Thali.

Anappurna Indian Restaurant: Divine Cuisine near Ku’damm

The name pretty much says it all. Annapurna is the Hindu goddess of food, with “Annam‟ meaning food and “Purna‟ meaning fulfillment. Accordingly, the restaurant sets high standards for itself. The concept was born with the goal of bringing Indian cuisine and its traditions to Berlin in their most original form. From the spices used to the recipes and the ambiance, everything was consciously and professionally selected.

Anappurna is located at Marburger Straße 5 in Charlottenburg, making its location as central as one could wish for. It’s just a three-minute walk from the famous Ku’damm. Bahnhof Zoo and the Memorial Church are also just a few minutes’ walk away.

Thali, Tandoori, and a Butter Chicken that convinces

Anappurna’s menu leaves nothing to be desired. Besides Duck Vindaloo and Chicken Tikka Masala, various Tandoori specialties are on the menu. The restaurant is particularly well-visited in the evenings. The offering is complemented by the Anappurna Grill Platter, Anappurna Thali, and a vegetarian Thali. This way, the restaurant caters to both meat-loving and vegetarian guests equally.

The classic dishes are particularly popular. Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan, and Bhatura are among the most frequently ordered dishes. For meat-free options, there’s Kadahi Paneer or Malai Kofta, both equally richly spiced. A refreshing Mango Lassi is recommended to pleasantly balance the strong spices of the dishes. Main courses usually range between 12 and 17 Euros, with Thali platters being slightly higher.
