Friedrichshain
You will immediately see where Silo Coffee is located if you turn into Gabriel-Marx-Straße in Berlin-Friedrichshain. In front of the trendy little Café in the Boxhagener neighborhood guests are usually queuing outside for the popular seats at Silo. Outsides the coffee shop offers some wooden tables with wooden benches while on the inside the café is kept in a minimalist design. One of the natural stone walls is decorated with a suspended bicycle. There are wooden table constructions mounted to the walls so the guests can sit on stools at the tables or they can find a cozy spot to enjoy their coffee in the window seats. The center of the café is the large wooden counter where the baristas prepare the coffee specialties with a Synesso coffee machine. Silo Coffee uses coffee roasting from the Fjord Coffee Roastery Berlin. The various Espresso-roasts such as Guatemala, Ethiopia, Brazil or Kenya are also packaged and ready to be taken home by you. In addition to coffee and freshly squeezed juices Silo Coffee also serves breakfast and delicious pancakes, avocado toast or homemade granola muesli.
In contrast to many other cafés of this kind Silo Coffee offers a service at the table. Typical for the café in the Boxhagener area in Friedrichshains is that visitors are served by the hip, friendly waiters in English. Meanwhile, the makers of Silo Coffee also operate the Commonground Café at Circus Hotel at Rosenthaler Platz in Berlin-Mitte.
