You don’t need to plan a big trip when visiting the ALvis restaurant; it’s centrally located near Friedrichstraße in Berlin-Mitte. During asparagus season, from April 14 to June 26, 2019, ALvis offers fresh asparagus in many possible variations.
For a light snack or as a starter, you can have asparagus cream soup with smoked trout and caviar. The colorful asparagus salad with fried prawns is a rich source of vitamins.
As a main course, there is asparagus spears, optionally with a small veal schnitzel with cucumber salad, or with fried salmon, or with a veal medallion, or simply with “Parma style” ham, each served with new potatoes.
With all asparagus dishes, ALvis serves butter, Hollandaise sauce, breadcrumb butter, or Béarnaise sauce. As a dessert after the asparagus, ALvis recommends fresh strawberries with woodruff cream and whipped cream.
