Lunettes Selection offers over 1,000 unworn spectacle frames from old stock, ranging from 1950s cat-eyes to classic panto glasses and Y2K sunglasses. Frames are inspected and fitted with lenses in their own master workshop, including those brought in by customers. Among Berlin's vintage stores, this is the one exclusively dedicated to eyewear.
Lunettes Selection: Vintage Glasses as a Fashion Statement
For many, vintage fashion starts with clothing. But it’s the right accessory that completes the look. Each season, Lunettes Selection surprises with a selection of curated vintage highlights, tracked down worldwide by their own sourcing team. The models come exclusively from forgotten stock and are therefore completely unworn. The frames at Lunettes Selection are not flea market finds, but genuine rarities from several decades.
The three Berlin stores in Mitte, Charlottenburg, and Prenzlauer Berg offer over 1,000 frames, including characteristic models such as 50s cat-eyes, classic panto glasses, and Y2K designer sunglasses. Among the sunglasses, you’ll also find famous pieces, from Yoko Ono’s glasses to Porsche or Versace frames. Furthermore, Lunettes Selection carries numerous manufacturers that can only be found here in Germany.
Curated, Tested, Timeless
Every single vintage pair of glasses is inspected in the in-house master workshop by certified opticians, polished to a high shine if necessary, and fitted with high-quality lenses upon request. A vintage frame found elsewhere can also be fitted with suitable lenses here. Whether plastic, horn, or metal, customers can entrust their own finds and heirlooms to the opticians.
The vintage assortment is complemented by the in-house line: In 2011, founder Uta Geyer launched the Lunettes Collection. The collection is designed in Berlin and handcrafted in Italy, comprises more than 30 models in various sizes and colors, and is available in the Berlin boutiques and at selected opticians worldwide.
