Pop Up Weihnachtsfeier auf dem Gendarmenmarkt

The 5-star hotel Grand Hyatt goes “cozy” and is opening a pop-up restaurant for the first time at the Christmas market on Gendarmenmarkt. Hyatt Catering’s restaurant aims to spoil the guests of the atmospheric Christmas market with creative German cuisine. The pop-up restaurant is open for Christmas market guests and also for exclusive Christmas parties for up to 45 people. A lot of attention to detail is applied, for instance, the winter dishes are appealingly arranged in Weck jars.

Guests of the Pop Up Restaurant can look forward to dishes like Havel pike-perch, braised beef shoulder, and apple cinnamon crumble. One of the highlights will be the premium version of mulled wine, the hot vintner’s wine “H-RED”, exclusively produced by Stefan Breuer and served hot bottle by bottle at the table.

The Christmas menu served at the Pop Up Restaurant includes, for example, Swabian vegetable Maultaschen salad or mildly smoked trout fillet as appetizers. For main courses, the menu tempts with braised beef shoulder, braised pork knuckle, or fried Havel pike-perch with exquisite side dishes. And for desserts, guests can choose between apple-cinnamon crumble, chocolate mousse, and baked apple mousse.

The Grand Hyatt is a five-star luxury hotel in the heart of Berlin at Potsdamer Platz. It features the Vox restaurant with an open kitchen and sushi bar, the Tizian restaurant with Italian cuisine, and the Vox Bar with a selection of over 300 whisky varieties.
