When boredom takes over on Sundays, Berlin offers an exciting entertainment program. Live escape games, where you embark on an exciting mission to solve difficult tasks and puzzles with several players, have been all the rage for several years now.
Located on 1000 square meters under the Admiralspalast, Exit is probably the best-known provider of escape games in Berlin and impresses with a particularly large selection of themes. In addition to the escape rooms, there are also virtual reality missions that offer you a world full of secrets, codes and puzzles – excitement and a racing heart are pre-programmed.
In a group of 2-14 players, you can put your courage and team spirit to the test in 6 different missions. Exit even offers the option of competing against each other with several groups at the same time in identical escape rooms. A classic is the Prison Island escape room, where you have to escape from a notorious prison island. You start with your team in a cramped collection cell and discover that one of your friends is missing and is in solitary confinement. Now the adventure begins and you have to get through several rooms to the mainland and free your friend at the same time. The game lasts 66 minutes and requires all your skills.
The virtual reality games are a real specialty in Berlin. You receive VR glasses and controllers as equipment and move around in a virtual space for the mission. The VR offer is only available at Exit and has already been awarded the German Computer Game Prize in the “Best Innovation” category.
Some of the escape rooms and virtual reality games can also be booked as a family experience and promise child-friendly excitement and fun. The “Monster Party”, for example, is suitable for children aged 5 and over, while more complex themes such as “Magic Alley” and “Huxley” are recommended for ages 10 and up.
Escape games are a great event idea, of course for boring Sundays, but also for companies, birthdays or bachelorette parties.
