Tennis Academy Berlin Brandenburg: four indoor courts at SportForum Kleinmachnow
The Tennis Academy Berlin Brandenburg trains in Kleinmachnow, directly behind the Berlin city limits, at the SportForum on Fontanestraße. The tennis hall there is not a lightweight construction but solidly built: 2,400 square meters of space, large skylights, three-row light strips, and joint-friendly carpet flooring, on which non-marking soles are required. Four courts are available year-round; in summer, an outdoor clay court is added opposite. Anyone who simply wants to play can rent an hour, online or by phone, entirely without a membership. Prices are staggered by season and time of day and are consistently lower in summer than in winter. There is a discount for school students and university students.
Five training levels and an entire sports complex around it
The Academy itself is purely a training provider and works with DTB-licensed trainers according to a five-stage concept, from elementary training on the red mini-court, through basic and advanced training, to intensive and individual training. In the elementary area, groups are limited to a maximum of eight children; in individual training, to three to four players. Those in intensive training complete at least nine training hours per week and play 30 to 50 tournament matches per year; the academy itself organizes about twenty tournaments. During holidays, there are five-day camps. The surrounding building makes the location particularly practical in continuous rain: six badminton courts over 800 square meters with an eleven-meter hall height, a swimming pool, a wellness area of approximately 1,500 square meters with four saunas, plus fitness and water courses, and twelve competition-ready bowling lanes.
