TanzSuite dances on the 13th floor of PlaceOne at Strausberger Platz, with panoramic views over Berlin and its own Panorama Dance Bar. Since 2003, over fifty courses per week have been offered here, from Standard and Latin to Salsa and Discofox to Lindy Hop. As an indoor sport in the rain, the trial lesson in most courses is free.

TanzSuite – The Panorama Dance School on the 13th Floor

The TanzSuite dances at Strausberger Platz, on the 13th floor of PlaceOne, and from there has a panoramic view over Berlin. Hence the name Panorama Dance School. Susanne Rinnert, who grew up in East Berlin, first founded the TanzZwiEt ballet school in 1992 and the TanzSuite as a social dance school in 2003; in 2012 the school moved to Strausberger Platz. The halls are equipped with professional sound systems and illuminated dance floors. It also includes its own Panorama Dance Bar, where you can relax after the course with a view over the city and reserve tables. The school explicitly sees itself as open to everyone and provides childcare at selected times if both parents attend a course together.

Over Fifty Courses a Week, from Viennese Waltz to Lindy Hop

The program includes more than fifty courses per week and over twenty dance styles. Standard and Latin cover Slow Waltz, Viennese Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, ChaChaCha, Rumba, Samba, and Jive, plus Salsa, Bachata, Argentine Tango, Discofox, Boogie, Swing, Lindy Hop, and Charleston, as well as Hip-Hop, Breakdance, Modern Jazz, and Ballet. Formats range from beginner and advanced courses to weekend workshops and crash courses to dance clubs in Bronze, Silver, and Gold, plus senior courses, prom and wedding dance courses, and private lessons. No one is tied to a fixed weekday, entry is possible monthly, and in most standard, Latin, and trend courses, the trial lesson is free. Approximately 25 dance parties per year are also included.
