David Bowie's House

David Bowie's House

Visit the outside of the building where David Bowie used to live in Berlin and remember that: "We can be heroes, for ever and ever".

Do you know that David Bowie described Berlin as "The greatest cultural extravaganza that one could imagine" and also our king David Bowie once lived in Berlin for a couple of years? It was in this place that he wrote his Berlin Trilogy and shared his life with his friend Iggy Pop. The address is Hauptstr. 155 in Schöneberg. You won’t be able to go inside but it will be a very suggestive walk. After his death, the exterior of his apartment was decorated with flowers. In August 2016, it was also identified with a plaque commemorating Bowie’s time there.
