Kindershow Friedrichstadt-Palast

The children's show 'Playing with Time' tells an exciting story about time travel on the world's largest theater stage - the Friedrichstadt-Palast in Mitte.
Especially popular during the Christmas season, the children’s shows at the Friedrichstadt-Palast in Mitte are a big hit. From November 22, 2018, to January 27, 2019, it’s once again ‘Playing with Time’ at the Friedrichstadt-Palast – a new production with a spectacularly revised stage design.
The children’s show ‘Playing with Time’ tells an adventurous story about involuntary time travel with a broken video game console. This year, once again, children perform for children in Europe’s most elaborate children’s production on the world’s largest theater stage.
And this is what ‘Playing with Time’ is all about: When Lea, Jule, and Ben try out a new video game, the console falls to the floor. Something must have broken, because every time they vigorously shake the console, a loose connection hurls them into another time!
Into the Stone Age, ancient Egypt, the Wild West, the Middle Ages, Viennese Classicism – and into the future. Involuntary time travel with a faulty game console is super exciting but also a bit inconvenient, because everyone has to be home on time for dinner. Otherwise, there’ll be grounding, which would reportedly be worse than hungry dinosaurs or dangerous knights.
