Through a courtyard gate at Potsdamer Straße 91, one enters a historic factory courtyard where the restaurant occupies two floors. Inside, a trendy, vibrant interior awaits across two levels, with friendly, relaxed service and modern, seasonal German cuisine. The concept harks back to Janosch: Panama is dedicated to a new, modern form of German cuisine in Berlin, drawing inspiration from the well-known children’s book “Oh, How Beautiful Panama Is”.

The whole establishment is run by Ludwig Cramer-Klett, who also owns Katz Orange, well-known far beyond Berlin’s borders. The result is a casual fine dining concept that offers sophisticated and high-quality cuisine while maintaining a relaxed atmosphere. Furthermore, in addition to à-la-carte dishes, a menu of three or four courses recommended by the chef is available.

Panama also includes the Tiger Bar in the brick annex in the courtyard, which offers an exceptional cocktail concept along with a selection of craft beer and natural wines in a cozy speakeasy atmosphere.
