Bar Gracia

Daniel Brühl's second tapas bar in Berlin is located directly on Helmholtzplatz, in the trendy center of Prenzlauer Berg.
In the former premises of the long-established Café Osswald, Bar Gracia presents itself unpretentiously, with a cozy design. The decor is understated: floorboards, simple wooden tables and chairs, a large wine rack, no unnecessary ornamentation. The dimmed lighting creates a comfortable atmosphere. The long counter forms the center of the large tapas bar, and the overall atmosphere of Bar Gracia is bustling.
Friendly, Spanish waiters contribute to the authenticity of the tapas bar. In the evenings, it gets really crowded here. This is where the typical Prenzlauer Berg crowd meets, mostly freelancers from the surrounding co-working spaces in the neighborhood, groups of friends, or young families from the area.
The tapas at Bar Gracia are exceptional. For example, marinated salmon in garlic sauce, vegetarian eggplant balls with fennel, or hummus with chia seeds are served. A highlight is the in-house recipe for traditional Patatas Bravas. The wine list at Bar Gracia is long and extensive, with high-quality Spanish wines naturally dominating, as befits the theme.
At Bar Gracia, you can spend a cozy evening with friends or colleagues and constantly be inspired by the exceptional, changing tapas menu. There is also enough space for slightly larger groups in the spacious bar. However, reservations are essential if you plan to visit in the evening.
