Crocodile tail fillet, zebra steak, and kudu antelope - Savanna is a restaurant for adventure seekers!

Between Helmholzplatz and Kollwitzplatz is the Savanna restaurant, where traditional Eritrean-Ethiopian dishes are offered daily. Savanna’s interior design is traditional – African pictures hang on the walls, animal sculptures stand on the bar table. On the wooden seating, you can embark on a culinary journey.

If you want to try as many of these unusual meats as possible, you should order a platter for 2 people. But vegetarian dishes, e.g., with spinach, peanut sauce, and plantains, are also on the menu.

A visit is especially worthwhile on Fridays and Saturdays: On these days, guests receive complimentary coffee after their meal, prepared according to a traditional Ethiopian ceremony.
