In Mulackstraße in Berlin-Mitte, small bowls full of flavor are steaming: Iimori Ramen serves authentic Japanese ramen in a minimalist setting. Both the meat varieties and the vegan ramen alternatives at the restaurant are arguably the best in the city.

Tonkotsu, Miso, Yuzu: Ramen in Berlin at Japanese Level

Iimori Ramen offers not only classics like Tonkotsu and Miso ramen but also its own creations, including a Basil-Tonkotsu ramen and summery Yuzu ramen, which are rarely found in Berlin. If you like, order the homemade Gyoza with it. Starters also include Edamame and seaweed salad. If you’re not hungry for broth, you can opt for Dry Ramen. Sake, Matcha, and Yuzu cocktails are also available. For those who don’t eat meat: Iimori Ramen has a separate, vegan restaurant located right next door. Here you’ll find plenty of vegan ramen options, including a tomato ramen and vegan meat alternatives like crispy duck or beef. Dessert in the form of ice cream is also on the menu. The restaurant does not take reservations, so it’s best to arrive early.

A firm part of Mulackstraße since 2020

Iimori Ramen opened in January 2020 in Berlin-Mitte and has since built a solid reputation in Berlin’s ramen scene. The restaurant was completely redesigned from scratch, including its interior, menu, and kitchen. Stone and beech wood characterize the interior, warm and simple at the same time.

Mulackstraße itself is well-established culinarily: nearby are Monsieur Vuong, one of the city’s most famous Vietnamese restaurants, and Fuki Sushi.
