Since 1992, Dorothea and Ioannis have been serving Greek specialties here in Neukölln, building a loyal customer base who book tables as if they were part of the family. Greek columns at the entrance and in the dining room, red-and-white checkered tablecloths, and pictures from Greece create the typical Mediterranean ambiance. Additionally, candlelight and warm lamp light create a pleasantly inviting atmosphere. Those visiting in winter should also know: there’s a cozy fireplace room that can also be used for private celebrations.

Greek Cuisine Without Compromises

The menu at Taverna Olympia leaves no Greek culinary desire unfulfilled. Whether it’s rustic gyros, traditional meze as starters, fresh fish, or the popular lamb roulades – the cuisine stays true to the Greek original. Particularly exciting are the seasonal surprises: traditionally, a kid goat is flown in for Easter, fresh sea bass or dorado are regularly available, and occasionally Pastizio and Moussaka come fresh from the pan.
