Café Einstein Unter den Linden

While in the café on Unter den Linden prominent politicians like Angela Merkel are regulars, its main location in Tiergarten is much more the meeting point of artists and cultural celebrities. Actors like Iris Berben and Jan Josef Liefers – who drank his first coffee here when he came to West Germany – like to drop in for a cup of coffee.

The coffee is nearly marginalized with such an amount of celebrities but their coffee is actually really good, just like their service. Also the apple strudel or a helping of Kaiserschmarrn are recommended. The only drawback of the place are the somewhat steep prices.
