Over 50 different varieties are waiting to release their aromas in the legendary Faema E 61 – the result is one of Berlin’s best espressos. Double Eye remains true to its values: Arno and Andy value sustainability and social justice and source their coffee directly from farms with which they collaborate as smaller family businesses. Thus, when you taste the specialty coffee from Schöneberg, you can tell that they aren’t just brewing espresso here, but serving conviction.

Small Location, Big Coffee Menu

In addition to coffee classics like cappuccino and espresso, customers can also expect creative creations like Espresso Tonic. There are also Pastel de Nata and a wide selection of roasts. The beans are prominently displayed on the wall, including detailed tasting notes. Those who buy coffee beans for home benefit from a pleasant side effect: if you buy a kilo of coffee, you get a free espresso. Today, between 600 and 800 coffee servings are dispensed daily – which speaks for itself. However, it’s good to know: Double Eye accepts cash only. If you keep that in mind, you’ll get your money’s worth, because really good coffee doesn’t have to be expensive here.
