The cuisine of this sailer turned boat restaurant, moored on Berlin-Treptow’s Plänterwald, focuses on fish, fresh and smoked. Some examples of the kitchen’s mastery include rainbow trout with fried potatoes or the large fish combination. All year round you can order freshly smoked fish there.

The Klipper, however, is more than only a fish restautant. The kitchen offers a breakfast card from 10:00 am – 04:00 pm throughout the year, for example the sun deck breakfast with egg, mozzarelly, olives and serrano ham, in the afternoon you get some in-house cake. Chef Gerd Schulze succeeds in creating a culinary mix of fresh ingredients, not only for friends of fish dishes.

The former sailer is an old two-mast ship turned restaurant, tightly moored on the Spree river between Plämterwald and Treptower Park. The former cargo bay holds now that kitchen, the bar and a large oven. A further guest room is located in the former crew’s sleeping bay. The decks offers additional seating on sunny days.
