Not far from the city park Lichtenberg in Berlin-Friendrichshain the Schalander brewery offers self-brewed beer which is brewed in the middle of the dining area where over 150 people can find space to relax and enjoy a cool beer with friends. Next to the usual beers like light lager and brown ale Schalander also offers seasonal beers that are prepared freshly and with natural ingredients.
On the menu one can find, next to beer, German wine and fruit brandy that the brewery gets from a family business from Ehrenkirchen, a small village between Freiburg and Basle. Additionally the cuisine offers delicious tarte flambée in many different variations. Other specialties are the goulash and bacon sandwiches as well as schnitzel, which is a dish on the daily menu.
Next to the self-brewed beer and the delicious food Schalander offers free Wi-Fi and is also the perfect spot for any football fan!
