Since 2018, La Candela Salsa has specialized in Salsa Cubana, teaching right next to Hamburger Bahnhof, five minutes from Hauptbahnhof. The salsa course in Berlin-Mitte progresses through five levels with over 100 hours, covering Timba, Son, and Rueda, with instruction in English. For beginners, this means: confidently on the dance floor after a six-hour Beginners Course.

Hidden in a backyard on Wriezener Straße is an 1889 ballroom with chandeliers, a walnut dance floor, and Gründerzeit furniture. Since 2022, Ballhaus Wedding has once again been a cultural venue in the Soldiner Kiez, offering tango evenings, poetry slams, improv theater, and concerts.

Wilde Matilde in the Nikolaiviertel enchants with a colorful variety show in the style of the roaring twenties. Café Keese on Bismarckstrasse in Charlottenburg has been a dance hall since 1966, featuring table telephones, around 400 seats, and an 80-square-meter dance floor. Tuesdays offer Disco Fox with a free taster course, and Sundays feature dance tea with bingo.

If you want to end your week's start with some sporty fun, just roll into SO36 on Oranienstraße in Kreuzberg. The legendary punk and rock club transforms several times a month into a roller disco, with funk, hip-hop, and roller boogie providing the soundtrack. Roller skate novices and pros share the same venerable dance floor during this after-work event.

Dance, acrobatics, and stage experience in Prenzlauer Berg: THE CENTER School of Performing Arts offers weekly holiday camps in English for children and teens during the summer holidays, culminating in a real performance for the family at the end of the week.

The ballroom from 1889 is one of Berlin's oldest preserved, with furnishings from the Belle Époque. Over 350 square meters accommodate 135 seated guests, while the winter garden features parquet flooring from the Babelsberg film studio. Club der Visionäre is a wooden structure on the Flutgraben with a single floor where a maximum of fifty people can dance. There are also jetties over the water, a willow tree above the dance floor, and its own pizzeria. Among Berlin's techno clubs, it is the smallest and has the lowest entry fee; Ricardo Villalobos became famous here.

The Golgatha beer garden is hidden in Viktoriapark in Kreuzberg, on the highest hill in central Berlin. With over 500 seats, a rooftop terrace, and views over the neighborhood's rooftops, it is one of Berlin's most famous beer gardens.

The MS Hoppetosse is an excursion steamer from 1928, which was sunk in 1944, later salvaged, and in the nineties, cut into pieces and dragged to Berlin. Today it lies in Osthafen, with three decks, featuring Minimal House from the Club der Visionäre team. Of all techno clubs in Berlin, this is the only one where you can experience the sunrise while swaying.

The Arena Club has become one of the best addresses of the European music scene.

Rock fans should mark the afterwork party at the Sage in their calendar. Every Thursday after 8:00 pm the three floors see life concerts and performances by DJ sets.
