Dance, Acrobatics, and Performing Arts in the Berlin Summer Holidays

Since 2005, THE CENTER School of Performing Arts in Prenzlauer Berg has been a fixed point of contact for English-speaking families in Berlin. The school offers ballet, contemporary dance, acrobatics, musical theatre, and acting, all exclusively in English. As holiday care for children in Berlin, the concept works particularly well: during school holidays, day camps are offered for children and teenagers. Kids not only learn dancing and acrobatics, but also playfully practice their English. The instructors are English native speakers from all over the world.

The Camps in Summer 2026 at THE CENTER

For the summer holidays 2026, there are several holiday camps for different age groups. For the youngest, from 4 years old, there is a structured acrobatics camp in Prenzlauer Berg with rolls, handstands, and creative movement games in English. For children between 5 and 7 years old, a one-week acrobatics workshop follows, promoting balance, body strength, and motor skills. Slightly older kids from 8 years old can join an AcroDance workshop, where their own choreography with acrobatic elements is developed and presented to family and friends at the end of the week. For pre-teens and teens from 10 to 16 years old, there is also an AcroDance camp requiring no prior knowledge and no competitive pressure. Additionally, a five-day afternoon dance workshop for 10 to 16-year-olds offers ballet and pop dance for beginners. THE CENTER operates two studios in Prenzlauer Berg, which are only a short walk from each other and both easily accessible by U2 subway line.
