The Berlin Museum Island (UNESCO World Heritgage Site since 1999) provides an impressive backdrop for your flea market expedition.
More than 60 vendors have been setting up shop here since 1992 with a cornucopia of items, from the inexpensive modern antiquarian seller to real collectors' items. You can expect porcelains, historical glassware, old coins, silverware, lots of books and records. Add to that painting and bronze plastics, old household items, small pieces of furniture and nostalgic store signs of embossed sheet metal. The market is also a nice place to scout for old photos, stamps or post cards. Young artists complete the picture offering their artwork.
Please check the website prior to your visit, bring your mask and act responsible.
