From Own Designs to a Multilabel Store on Kurfürstendamm

Veronica Pohle has been running her boutique on Kurfürstendamm since 1995, and she learned the industry from the ground up: first an apprenticeship as a tailor, then training as a pattern maker, followed by design studies in Paris and an internship with Jean Paul Gaultier. She started with her own handbag designs and creations, and only later did it evolve into a multilabel store. Today, it features pieces from around ninety-five designers, including Missoni, Etro, Diane von Furstenberg, Talbot Runhof, Marchesa Notte, Ulla Johnson, and Veronica Beard. The focus is on evening and cocktail dresses, complemented by blouses, accessories, jewelry, glasses, and home accessories. Since 2017, her daughter Estelle has been working with her, responsible for the online shop and marketing. In-store consultations are available in German, English, and Russian. Goods ordered online are delivered within Germany in two to four business days, and across Europe in five to eight; for urgent occasions, an express option with next business day delivery is available. Gift vouchers are available from 25 Euros.

Sizes typically range from 32 to 44 or XS to XXL; size 40 is standard, many brands are also available in 42, and those looking for 44 or 46 will most likely find them in evening wear. No appointment is necessary; personal on-site consultation is part of the service and free of charge. Customers who order online can also choose to pick up and pay for their goods at the boutique. The Adenauerplatz underground station is about two hundred meters away, and several bus lines, including the M19 and X10, stop on Kurfürstendamm. However, a direct in-store exchange for online orders is not possible; items must be returned and re-ordered.
