Britz Windmill

In the middle of the giant orchard of the Britzer Garten you will find this Dutch-style windmill of 20 metres height reaching for the sky. The Britz Windmill is one of the only 2 still totally operational windmills within the Berlin city limits. Guided tours explain you its mechanisms and tell you something about its architecture.

In front of the windmill you will find a small restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. They host all kinds of functions at Britz, even engagements. The Neukölln Registrars Office can conduct the necessary legal procedures for a marriage also in the windmill.
