Renaissance Theater

The Renaissance Theater building does not date from the Renaissance era, as its name suggests, but was built in 1902 as an Art Deco building.

As such, it is now on Berlin’s list of protected monuments. The interior design from the 1920s has been preserved to this day.

Since the mid-1990s, the house has been dedicated to international contemporary drama. The current repertoire includes plays by Neil Simon and Francis Veber, for example.
