The FC Magnet Bar in Berlin-Mitte is now legendary and an absolute must, not only for Tatort, but also for football fans. On Tatort evenings, Sundays usually start with the Tagesschau (news). Afterwards, Tatort is shown on a large screen. There are peanuts, crisps, and chocolate. The bar also has delicious draught beer and a wide selection of drinks.
The public viewing concept of the FC Magnet Bar began with a love for the beautiful game: From a club home for the FC Magnet Mitte football club, the bar has developed into a meeting point for all football fans. With fabulous picture and sound technology, Bundesliga matches, Premier League, Champions League, and all important international football events are presented in several rooms via conference call.
Most visitors to FC Magnet are incidentally supporters of Niederrhein-Borussia or St. Pauli. Of course, the European Football Championship also takes place here: It is watched on three flat screens and three projectors.
