Located on the site of a former dog biscuit factory in Rummelsburg, Sisyphos celebrates non-stop from Friday to Monday, combining techno and house with a labyrinthine outdoor area full of sand, a pond, and art installations.

Sisyphos: weekend sessions in Rummelsburg

Two kissing ducks mark the entrance, behind which a cosmos of its own begins. Founded in 2008 in a former dog biscuit factory in Rummelsburg, the club is known for its long, vibrant parties across multiple floors, supplemented by indoor areas, the winter garden, and expansive open-air spaces. The concept is as simple as it is consistent: parties often run non-stop from Friday to Monday.

Musically, the floors cater to techno, tech-house, and house. Outside, dancing takes place on sandy ground, often barefoot, and the garden area features a small pond with a wooden platform for relaxation. In addition to the regular weekend parties, there are themed parties for which the premises are transformed with elaborate decorations and interactive elements.

Alternative Club Culture at Rummelsburg Bay

Sisyphos represents the alternative side of Berlin’s club scene, with a creative and distinctly open atmosphere. Photography is not permitted on the premises; the door policy decides based on attitude rather than outfit.

A visit typically costs about 20 to 60 Euros per person, depending on admission and duration of stay. For arrival, the S-Bahn to Rummelsburg is suitable, from there it’s about a ten-minute walk.
