Seerose - Cucina Italiana

Take a trip to Potsdam as an anti-stress program - there, the Seerose shines in new splendor as a stylish beach bar!
For its 30th birthday, the distinctive water lily-shaped building underwent a renaissance. Since the Seerose was built in Potsdam in 1983 by the renowned civil engineer Ulrich Müther, it has housed various gastronomic establishments. Now, the uniquely shaped building is a modern beach bar, offering cocktails, delicious burgers, and steaks from a new Montague Steakhouse Grill from the USA, among other things.
The architecture of the Seerose, with its large, high windows, provides plenty of air and light in the interior. A lot has changed here after the renovation. In addition to ample seating for restaurant visitors, there is now also a small lounge area that invites cozy conversations by the fireplace. In summer, the approximately 200 square meter terrace offers space for dining. In the self-service area with a beach section, guests can enjoy snacks, drink cocktails, and relax on wooden loungers. A children’s playground is located within sight of the terrace, allowing parents to keep an eye on their offspring.
Top10 Editorial Tip: If you’re currently on the Havel by boat, you should make a quick stop at the Seerose’s boat landing: here you can have your picnic basket refilled with homemade cake.
