Trabi Safari

During the Trabi Safari, you drive through Berlin in a convoy of up to six cult cars from GDR times. Information about the sights is provided via radio.

Over 100 vehicles of the GDR cult car are available for the Trabi Safari. The special fun: You drive yourself, but in a group of six vehicles for everyone who isn’t familiar with Berlin or wants to concentrate on the vehicle and not on the route.

Participants can choose their own vehicle. Each Trabi features the original four-speed manual shifter, which is explained in a short introduction. And after the ride, every driver receives their very own “Trabi driver’s license”.

You can choose whether to take part in the grand tour, which lasts just over two hours and traces the footsteps of the Berlin Wall, or to join the “Berlin Up Close” tour, which covers all the important highlights in Berlin. The Berlin Up Close – tour passes by sights in central and western Berlin and through the former eastern part of the city, along the East Side Gallery, the longest remaining section of the Berlin Wall.
